Divides and Watersheds

Divides and Watersheds introduces students to the Willamette River Watershed in Oregon and teaches them about how watersheds fit into the water cycle. Maps and photographs show examples of major watersheds in the world along with the land boundaries between them, called divides. The book also uses experiments to show the impact humans can have on watersheds and what they can do to protect watersheds in the future.
